No te pedimos nombre, correo electrónico ni teléfono. No hay registro, no hay contraseña, no hay cuenta. Tu carta no está asociada a vos por ningún dato que te identifique.
En tu teléfono, y sólo ahí. Cuando cargás tu carta, queda guardada en el almacenamiento local de la app. No la copiamos a ningún servidor: no existe una base de datos con las cartas de los usuarios, sencillamente porque no existen los usuarios.
Junto a la carta se guardan tus preferencias: el idioma y el tema que elegiste, y en qué pantalla estabas. Nada de eso sale del teléfono.
Para calcular tu carta y tu pronóstico, la app le manda al servidor la fecha, la hora y las coordenadas. El servidor calcula las posiciones del cielo con las Efemérides Suizas, devuelve el resultado y no lo guarda. Ningún cálculo se escribe en una base ni en un archivo.
La excepción honesta: como cualquier sitio web, el servidor lleva un registro técnico de las peticiones que recibe, y en algunas de ellas las coordenadas viajan dentro de la dirección. Ese registro sirve para detectar fallas y ataques, se conserva por poco tiempo y no se cruza con nada. No hay ninguna manera de asociarlo con una persona: no tenemos su nombre.
Si agregás el widget del Reloj del cielo, la app le deja las coordenadas y el huso en un espacio compartido del propio teléfono, para que el widget pueda consultar el cielo del momento. Es la misma consulta que hace la app, con los mismos datos, al mismo servidor.
AstralCast se paga con una suscripción anual, con siete días gratis. El cobro lo hace la tienda (App Store o Google Play) con la cuenta que ya tenés ahí: nosotros no vemos tu tarjeta, tu nombre ni tu correo, y no abrimos ninguna cuenta nuestra. Lo único que la app recibe de la tienda es si la suscripción está activa y hasta cuándo, y eso se guarda en tu teléfono para saber qué mostrar y para que el widget siga la misma llave. Se cancela y se administra desde la tienda; en Perfil hay un atajo.
Los avisos de lunación, eclipse, Luna del año, fin de la prueba y renovación son notificaciones locales: la app pide al servidor las fechas de los próximos doce meses y las programa tu propio teléfono. No hay servicio de notificaciones push, no guardamos ningún identificador de tu dispositivo y el servidor no sabe a quién se le programó qué. Cada categoría se enciende o se apaga en Perfil.
Desde Perfil → Cambiar carta reemplazás la carta guardada por otra; la anterior se borra en ese momento. Si desinstalás la app, se borra todo lo que había: la carta, las preferencias y lo que leía el widget. No queda nada nuestro en tu teléfono ni copia nuestra en ningún lado.
AstralCast no está dirigida a menores de edad y no recolecta a sabiendas datos de menores.

← Volver a AstralCastWe do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. There is no sign-up, no password, no account. Your chart is not linked to you by anything that identifies you.
On your phone, and only there. When you enter your chart it is saved in the app's local storage. We do not copy it to any server: there is no database of user charts, simply because there are no users.
Your preferences are stored alongside it: the language and theme you chose, and which screen you were on. None of that leaves the phone.
To calculate your chart and your forecast, the app sends the date, time and coordinates to the server. The server computes the positions of the sky using the Swiss Ephemeris, returns the result and does not store it. No calculation is written to a database or to a file.
The honest exception: like any website, the server keeps a technical log of the requests it receives, and in some of them the coordinates travel inside the address. That log is used to detect failures and attacks, is kept for a short time and is not cross-referenced with anything. There is no way to tie it to a person: we do not have their name.
If you add the Sky Clock widget, the app leaves the coordinates and time zone in a shared space on your own phone, so the widget can look up the sky of the moment. It is the same request the app makes, with the same data, to the same server.
AstralCast is paid for with a yearly subscription, with seven free days. The store does the charging (App Store or Google Play) through the account you already have there: we never see your card, your name or your email, and we open no account of our own. The only thing the app receives from the store is whether the subscription is active and until when, and that is kept on your phone so the app knows what to show and the widget follows the same key. It is cancelled and managed from the store; Profile has a shortcut.
The lunation, eclipse, Moon of the year, end-of-trial and renewal alerts are local notifications: the app asks the server for the dates of the next twelve months and your own phone schedules them. There is no push notification service, we store no identifier of your device, and the server does not know who was scheduled what. Each category is switched on or off in Profile.
From Profile → Change chart you replace the saved chart with another one; the previous one is deleted at that moment. If you uninstall the app, everything it held is deleted: the chart, the preferences and what the widget was reading. Nothing of ours stays on your phone, and no copy of ours exists anywhere.
AstralCast is not directed at minors and does not knowingly collect data from them.
